Tour Overview
This tour takes us to one of the most beautiful beaches in Yucatán: Sisal. Once the state’s largest port city, it is now a fishing village and an ideal setting for bird watching. The mangrove path of the ecological reserve is a short walk from the seaside, and during the tour we will visit both the shore and the shady mangroves, each with unique species of birds to observe. We will be looking for cardinals, endemic Mexican sheartail hummingbirds, American flamingos and ruddy crakes, among other species. We end the tour under a palapa on the beach, with refreshments and local fruit to enjoy with the scenery. Bring a swimsuit and towel in case you want to take a dip!
